week 6 (term 2)
After a long and tiring week i have finally finished uv mapping everything ive modelled for the jungle. Soon i can start texturing and begin painting on my uv maps. From Rob I was given a checkered pattern which i then applied to all my models. This was useful for seeing where stretching occured. I found Mapping foilage quite a challenge to begin with but then after mapping the 5th model (which was a twisted tree) everything else seemed to be a piece of cake. So even though this stage in making the jungle has been rather boring im glad i got alot of practice in this area.Thank you Rob for your help and advise at the beginning of the week. (see below everything i've uv mapped)

week 5
This week i was asked to continue making the jungle for the next couple of shots in our film. These next two shots involve the character running down a path through the thick jungle and then jumping over a fallen log. It was difficult knowing how to layout the enviroment with all my different models so that it looked thick, balanced, realistic and enough space for the character to run down the path. A few changes may need to be made on where things are positioned actually, but this is something i can work on later with opinions from the group. i have just finished modelling the snake character and have also started making a few uv texture maps for various plants and trees. (see next to layed out shots below)
